Hi Tom,

First off my sincere apologies for the late response. For some reason I wasn't notified of your post.

Here is the review of your shopify store The Dapper Dog Club.

First Impression
The store has a clean fresh appearance with a large clear font making it quick and easy to read. It has a pleasant "feel" about it making me want to explore more which is a good thing.

In the desktop view the main header image appears too large which forces the user the scroll almost 50% of the page before seeing the first products. I suggest making the header image no more than 500px high.

Homepage Layout
Although the homepage has a welcoming design from an ecommerce perspective there are some improvements to be made. Instead of featured products I suggest you have featured collections. You only have 3 collections so have each collection featured on the homepage.

Replace the instagram "lookbook" with an image gallery. Don't give the user any excuse to leave the site. Place any social links in the footer and on the contact page only.

The blog posts at the bottom of the page is okay. I would have at least 6 posts visible with 50 word excerpts and change the wording on the "View All" link to "The Dapper Dog Blog" also change the blog category from dog breeds to "The Dapper Dog Blog" You'll never compete for the dog breeds keywords!!

Place the mantra at the bottom of the page and move the newsletter subscribe form higher to the middle of the page. Tell the reader what to expect in the newsletter, its it dog health, tips, training, food or whatever. Make the newsletter a bigger feature!

Main Menu
Restructure the main menu. Place the contact, giving back and wholesale links in the footer. Remove the "Home" link, also remove the Shop link and place the four shop links in the top menu like: Poo Bags, Rope Toys, Waxed Pouches, Slow Feeders, Blog.

Collection pages
Add some content to the collection page to describe what the collection is about. Create an introduction to the collection; for example: Slow feeder Bowls. Introducing Slow Feeder Bowls: Revolutionize your pet's eating habits with our carefully curated collection. Designed to promote healthy eating speeds, reduce bloating, and enhance digestion, these bowls ensure a fun and engaging mealtime. Perfect for pets of all sizes, our Slow Feeder Bowls make every bite count towards a healthier lifestyle.

Create an introduction for each collection.

Poo Bags featured product. If this is a cornerstone product then create a new product template for this product and add more sections to include some images and content to sell the benefits not the features

About page
If possible add a picture of yourself, your dogs and or your location to make a better connection with the audience.

Contact Page
Add links to social pages below the form and allow people to connect there too.

Blogs
Write content that allows you to add links to related products. The blogs should be a gateway to your products not only for the audience but also via links for Google. internal linking is important to help your pages rank higher.

Local SEO
Create an about page specifically for location based searches where people are looking for dog product in their local area. Link this to your Google Business page if you have one and if you haven't got one then get one.

Footer menu
Consolidate the menu items at the bottom of the page to avoid duplicates and make room for the links moved from the top menu

Conclusion
Overall you've made a great start to your online store. With s few subtle changes it could be improved further for both the visitor, google and your conversions. I feel you would benefit from having more products available or try to get your messaging on sustainable and eco-friendly products into the pages a little bolder with headings and images.
